Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to Aura, our websites, and related services operated by AutoIntent AI (the "Services"). It does not govern third-party services that you connect to Aura.
1. Our role and the data this policy covers
Aura is designed for businesses. The role AutoIntent plays depends on the information involved:
- Customer Data: data a business customer submits to Aura or directs Aura to process through a connected service. This can include information about shoppers, subscribers, support contacts, personnel, products, orders, and campaigns. The customer generally acts as the controller or business, and AutoIntent acts as its processor or service provider.
- User Data: information about people who administer or use an Aura account, such as account, authentication, activity, and support information.
- Prospect Data: information about website visitors, prospective customers, demo attendees, and other people who communicate with us.
Customers are responsible for having the required rights and permissions, providing notices to individuals, and responding to requests concerning Customer Data.
2. Information we collect and its sources
Depending on how you interact with Aura, we may collect:
- Account and business details: name, business email, organization, role, login credentials, and preferences.
- Connected-service data: information you authorize Aura to access from commerce, CRM, advertising, analytics, support, review, survey, and communications platforms.
- Commerce and customer data: product, order, transaction, campaign, customer, retention, support, review, and engagement information.
- Brand and agent context: goals, guardrails, campaign notes, prompts, files, reports, brand voice, instructions, approvals, and outputs.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, approximate location, browser and device details, logs, activity, timestamps, diagnostics, and referrals.
- Communications: information provided through demo requests, support conversations, surveys, or other communications.
We collect information directly from you, from your organization, automatically through the Services, from services you authorize, and from vendors that support our business.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, administer accounts, connect and analyze authorized business data, create agent outputs, deliver approved actions, improve and secure Aura, respond to inquiries, send permitted communications, enforce agreements, and comply with law.
We do not use connected Customer Data to advertise third-party products to your customers. Where applicable, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent where required, and compliance with law.
4. AI processing and agent outputs
Aura uses frontier AI models and cloud-based AI services to analyze authorized data and produce reports, summaries, and recommendations. Content needed to complete a request may be processed by providers acting on our behalf and subject to applicable agreements and settings.
AI-generated outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Aura supports human decision-making and is not intended to make legal or similarly significant decisions about individuals without appropriate human review.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to infrastructure and service providers, connected services you direct Aura to use, authorized users in your organization, professional advisers, authorities when legally required, and participants in a business transaction. We may also disclose information at your direction or with your permission.
7. Retention and international transfers
We retain information only as long as needed to provide Aura, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, and meet contractual or legal obligations. When information is no longer required, we delete, de-identify, or restrict it.
AutoIntent and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting account credentials and notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; appeal a decision; and receive equal treatment when exercising a privacy right.
To exercise a right concerning data AutoIntent controls, email hello@autointent.ai. For Customer Data, contact the business that collected your information first.
AutoIntent does not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16.
10. Children, external links, and policy changes
Aura is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Third-party sites and connected services have their own privacy practices.
We may update this policy as Aura evolves or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice where required.
